IN MEMORY

Paul Freeman

Paul Freeman was born on February 20, 1949 in St. Louis, IL, and moved to Las Vegas with his family in 1960.  While at Fremont Jr. High he started dating Tracey Heathcote who was a year older.  They dated all through high school and got married in 1967.  They have one son who was born that year.  At one time he had a taxidermy business for a couple of years—Freeman’s Taxidermy.  He also was an electrician and welder by trade.  He also enjoyed camping and using his creative talents of sculpting marble and sandstone.  When he retired at 65 he went in for a physical.  After some additional testing he was told that he had four months to live.  He passed away on September 30, 2014. Besides his wife and son, he left two small granddaughters whom they adopted after he and Tracey retired which she is now raising.
